Power in the Tongue
5/24/18

“Oh, Watchman! Oh, Watchman!
Let me out! Let me out!
For I have a work to do.”
Cried the words of Bitterness and Strife
As the Anger and Jealousy grew

“Nay!” Saith the Watchman
“You don’t have a clue.
For if I let you go, even just a few-
Steal, Kill and Destroy
Is all you will do.”

“Oh, Watchman! Oh, Watchman!
Let me out! Let me out!
For I have a work to do.”
Cried the words of Mercy and Grace
As compassion and love was overdue

“Go! Go at once.” Granted the Watchman
“I release you at once.
For when I let you go, even just a few-
Peace, Hope and Joy
Will you breath into every life anew.”

Psalm 141:3
Set a watch, O Lord, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips.

Psalm 139:4
For there is not a word in my tongue, but lo, O Lord, thou knowest it altogether.
